The Kit Review – The Peoples FC

Right we are off to the big smoke, London baby. Down to the countries capital we are taking a special visit to The Peoples FC. The club have the honour of calling themselves the first charity Youtube team.

The club play in the Woolwich and Eltham Sunday Football Alliance in the Pat Tansley Division 4. The club boast 3 senior sides homing 60+ players. The club have the almost mythical award of being a FA Charter Standard club, which if anyone knows grassroots ball, you’ll know how hard, organised and well run you must be to be awarded the FA Charter Standard award.

2021 the year of the Blackout shirt and todays shirt is another to be added to the list of beautiful black shirts. Dave was certainly right when he sang that Black is Beautiful. The Peoples have bought in Appin Sports to produce them stunner and the club use Appin Sports to produce all of their kit/training wear we admire the loyalty to one brand as the old saying goes if it isn’t broke why fix it.

The shirt with its black base is beautifully laced with gold but it displays an absolutely vital message throughout ‘Its okay to not be okay’ which I’m sure everyone can agree on that we need to support each other and weed out the negativity to build a better post-covid World.

Can you get you hands on one of these shirts? YES, direct from The Peoples FC’s website. With proceeds of each sale being donated to various charities that the club work very closely with, so not only will you look stylish as f*** when the pubs reopen you’ll be helping a number of charities so buying this one just makes sense.
