The Kit Review – Romilly Rovers FC

Romilly Rovers based in Handsworth, Birmingham. Who ply their trade on Sunday mornings in division one of the Sutton & District league, arguably Birmingham’s most established and best Sunday league. Playing their games out of Romilly Avenue they have been running since 2017 and have been growing and developing each season.

The shirt we review today is the clubs away shirt which we have to say on first look doesn’t come across as much but after closer inspection you see the details and then it clicks this shirt is certainly unique.

Romilly have teamed up with SportyBits on this shall we call it gold? Maybe pale yellow? But it works with the classic green collar and cuffs but the piece de resistance is at the bottom of the shirt. What is it you ask? Ask and you shall receive this my dear readers is the city of Birmingham’s skyline. This isn’t something you see on a shirt everyday and certainly you have to admire the creativity and execution of this to pull this off and make it look good.

Credit to Sportybits on this one a very unique take for a football shirt and one that makes Romily Rovers stand out and makes the 0121 (Birmingham area code) truly stand out.

You can purchase the Romilly Rovers shirt from the SportyBits website. Romilly we will be watching you guys going forward to see if you can come up with anything to match this design.
