The Kit Review – Providence City FC

Considering the UK is still in lockdown our passport has taken a beating the last couple of weeks, no we aren’t jetting off to Dubai like the influencer mugs, we are hunting and searching for the greatest kits from around the World. So, we fly out to the East Coast of America, to visit Providence City who as the name suggests are based in Providence in the state of Rhode Island. Formed in 2015 the club play in the Bay State Soccer League.

The club has a strong constitution of building a community to bring the football culture Providence needs, the club also actively looks to promote local business and grow the structure of soccer in Rhode Island.

Providence have teamed up with local manufacturers Inaria Soccer who are a new manufacturer for us to review but boy oh boy what a way to take your review virginity.

The tan/beige base colour of the shirt is unusual to start with so kudos for using the unique colour off to winner already. You look at the shirt and first look it’s a hot mess but there’s method in the proverbial madness.

The shirt has an absolutely amazing, in Providence there is a local traditional called the Good Night Lights tradition every night flashing their lights saying hello to the children at the Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Letting the children know that every night people are thinking about them and wishing them health.

The ‘random’ pieces are artwork on the shirt are all inspired by either sites within the city or have significant meaning to the club.

The aptly named Rogues have this shirt in their gallery and to be honest they have a number of outstanding shirts which we could of reviewed. You can grab you very own Providence City shirt from their website and become an honorary Rogue:
