Today we visit Hedge End Rangers based down in Southampton. Formed in 1974 the club boasts of having 29 teams with over 400 players throughout the club ranging from boys and girls just starting out on their football journey right up to the veteran’s side they have. Hedge End play their home games at Norman Rodaway Sports Field.
The shirt we look at today is the clubs home shirt, its bold but it works. Hedge End have teamed up with Macron to produce this unique looking shirt. The blue paint/ink splattered look is certainly unusual for a grassroots shirt actual scrap that just football in general but for us it most definitely works.
The blue at the bottom working up to the white top progressively is truly a magnificent sight. With the club badge, sponsors logo and branding all in the same blue it blends in seamlessly which only adds to the shirt. The FA logos on each sleeve are something that isn’t seen at grassroots very often but certainly includes important messages for football for all and respect.
Full credit to Hedge End Rangers they are truly developing the game in their community showing that the true spirit of a grassroots club to keep developing for future generations.
