The Kit Review – CS Montreal 67

We go jet setting today is a first though as we head to Canada to visit CS Montreal 67. As the name suggests they are based in Montreal, Quebec. The club was founded in 2020 however, the club will set foot on the pitch for the first time in 2021 in the CCSL Premiership. In Quebec, they like their American cousins call the sport "Soccer" and they are proud of this term, which is why they have chosen the acronym CS which simply means "Soccer Club".

The number "67" refers to the Universal Exhibition which took place in Montreal in 1967. The latter is a symbol of the city's openness to the rest of the world. Like the Beaver located at the bottom of the emblem, CS Montreal 67 wishes to build a strong culture that will not leave anyone in its path.

The "67" appears as a club proud of Montreal's past, but which looks to the future with optimism. The club's mission is to get involved in Quebec amateur soccer in order to make a difference. Even if the club plays at the amateur level, its mission is to behave professionally by providing you with quality content.

So, let's get down to business and look at the shirt. The classic navy-blue shirt is very underused in football and this is a refreshing pleasure on the eyes. The classic navy has a striped pattern which is very classy and most certainly adds to the appeal of this shirt. The baby blue hoop in the middle of this shirt is very stylish, the pattern within the hoop is based on the Montreal Biosphere so a nice touch to have a homely feel that is also very aesthetically pleasing.

Unfortunately you can’t get hold of one of the CS Montreal 67 shirts, but you can keep up to date with the club via their Twitter @csmontreal67, @csmontreal67 or via their website
