The Kit Review – Caversham United

Heading down south down, go Reading to be precise as we visit the Billy Goats’ Caversham United. Caversham United Football Club are an amateur men’s football team based in Reading, Berkshire. They are a member of the Reading and District Sunday League, overseen by the Berks & Bucks Football Association. They compete in Division One of the Reading and District Sunday League.

Caversham United Football Club was founded under current ownership in June 2015, having been most recently known as AFC Palmer. Previous names of the club include RBC Unison, FC Brettle and Miah's.

The Caversham shirt we are looking at today is the clubs training shirt. Caversham have team up with Kit and Bone who have produced this little gem. The navy and aqua training shirt features a bespoke GOATS (Caversham’s nickname) sponsor with a deconstructed illustration of the River Thames etched across it, representing the club’s location on one of the World's most famous rivers.

The shirt also has Kit and Bone's signature sleeve logos and is finished off with a special #COYBG print on the back of the neck. This is one shirt that you can pull off if you just popping down the boozer for a few swift ones whilst the one half is out, or if you’re strutting your stuff down at Goals.

Want one?

Of course, you do! You can get yours from the Kit and Bone website. We certainly do advise you to keep up with Caversham United’s Instagram (@CavershamUnited) and Twitter (@CavershamUnited) with a following bigger than some professional teams (I'm looking at you Annan Athletic) are Caversham United Sunday leagues best kept secret?

That’s for you to decide!
