5 WEST LONDON DERBIES YOU NEED TO BE AWARE OF

1) Abbey FC v Takers FC

Now this was a FIESTY ONE...even for a friendly! Initially this spilled over from social media and was settled on the football pitch as all good match-ups should.

Both teams know each other from their pasts which added further fuel to the flames. In the end, Takers were the victors with a 3-1 win but I'm sure this won't be the last time we see these two north-west giants go head-to-head.

2) Southall Athletic v AFC Southall

Now this one was supposed to take place on 24th October 2020 but unfortunately due to Covid-19 but it wasn't meant to be. Fast-forward to post-lockdown two and it looks like we've been given the green light to go ahead to find out who's the best team in Southall.

3) Cricklewood Wanderers v Hilltop FC

Two of Saturday football's finest representing the Middlesex County Combination League, these two are no strangers to each other at all! The last time these two met was in pre-season with Cricklewood Wanderers gaining the upper hand.

Rest-assured, Hilltop will look to gain their sweet revenge when these two meet in the league later on this season.

4) Stanley vs UKTSU

"Any game you score four goals, you win the game" says UKTSU number 24 after the game.....AFTER LOSING 5-4!

YES PEOPLE....5-4! A high-scoring game between these two north-west London teams makes me immediately look forward to the sequel!

I'LL BRING POPCORN NEXT TIME! 🍿

5) Brentford United v Hounslow Wolves

This might've only been a pre-season friendly but that's where it stops. Two newly-formed teams went head-to-head in an intense match west part of London. This one wasn't short of goals either with the end result seeing Old Brentford United sticking EIGHT past Hounslow Wolves.
