5 TIMES PRO'S/EX PRO'S HAVE RETURNED TO GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL

If you're a baller, you never give up the want to put on your boots do you?

Here are 5 players that have played the professional game who have taken part in grassroots football.

1) Kaka - Hackney Wick FC

Much to the surprise to everyone, former AC Milan Legend Kaka, popped down for a six-a-side game in Hackney (as you usually do!) with players from Hackney Wick FC. Kaka took part in commercial campaign but it still didn't stop the Brazilian getting nutmegged by Jamal Farid, Hackney Wick FC Left Back in an exhibition game.

2) Ronaldinho - Peckham (Nike event)

Ronaldinho was in the ENDS!!! 😱😱😱

Back in July 2017, Ronaldinho rocked up to Brimmington Park in South London much the literal screams from fans in attendance. Eden Hazard and Brazil's Ronaldo were also present at the promotional event by Nike.

3) Patrice Evra - Brentham FC

I LOVE THIS GAME...of course you do Patrice! So much so, he put in a shift at West London step 7 club Brentham FC against North Greenford. Keeping the number 11 shirt warm for Giggsy, unfortunately he was unable to stop them from losing the game 3-2 but at least he got some minutes under his belt.

4) Sebastien Bassong - Haringey Borough FC

Home is where the heart and clearly Bassong has the keys to North London firmly in his pocket.

The former Spurs defender turned out for Haringey Borough against Hanwell Town in a 3-1 win for the Isthmian Premier League side.

5) Callum Hudson-Odoi - S.A.H.A. FC v Lambeth Allstars (Anti-knife crime event)

I love when players give back to their local community especially when it's for a good cause. Callum Hudson-Odoi showed some South London love by taking part in Anti Knife Crime football game in Croydon.

Despite the negative press surrounding his decision to play 12 hours after turning out against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, the Chelsea midfielder supported the event and the Black Lives Matter movement in his local area by kicking off the match between the two south London teams.

“Pleasure coming down and taking kick off for the Anti Knife Crime campaign and #BlackLivesMatter!!! Also good to see some familiar faces playing for a good cause in the community✊🏾” Hudson-Odoi
